EMEX 2016, run by the Energy Managers Association, was held on the 22nd and 23rd November 2016 at the Excel in London. The event saw exclusive content from a range of speakers with dedicated zones throughout the show addressing Utilities and Energy Services, Training, Energy in Facility Management and Energy Management Systems.
eSight Energy were there to showcase their new advancements in eSight and also to connect with existing and new customers alike. The software has seen a new release recently, and the new features were the main focus of the stand with customers being able to view a demo of the new Project Tracking module and Map Navigation dashboard.
The Project Tracking module is made up of ‘policies’ which represent high level savings targets in order to allow companies to gauge their energy usage and set actionable plans for improvement. The policies can be anything relatable to their energy usage such as “Save 25% of cost over the next 5 years”, eSight will then identify, analyse and verify the energy saving opportunities to achieve this target.
Also new to the latest eSight release is Map Navigation, a feature which allows multi-site, multi-national users to quickly navigate to key analysis for a chosen location via an interactive map. The new feature also visualises raised alarms for individual sites with clear indicators, allowing users to identify and react to abnormal energy use efficiently.
The two-day event proved very successful for eSight Energy, providing a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and insights with industry colleagues.
